Promoting preventive medicine

Creation of a Lunch&Learn to be given in clinics to raise awareness of the benefits of preventive healthcare for kittens (<1 year-old) and to guide veterinary teams in building a personalized care plan. An interactive PPT was built which served as a starting point to co-construct with vets and nurses a preventive health care plan for kittens that is tailored to the clinic.

Challenge

MSD noted that preventive healthcare is under-valued in clinics and is often reduced to vaccination only. Based on the new AAFP® recommendations, the objective was to help clinics take a step back from their current practice of preventive health care and provide them with a toolkit of good practices.

Creation of an interactive PPT presentation, used on 2 levels (sales reps and business partners) for nurses and veterinarians. This serves as a starting point to co-construct a preventive health care plan for kittens that is tailored to the clinic.
